Tui Tree House offers restful accommodation in a unique self-contained, 2 storey chalet set amongst native trees overlooking tranquil Cable Bay Estuary. Large bedroom and seating area upstairs, bathroom and kitchenette, down. Comfy king-sized bed, or 2 twins. Secluded, leafy deck for romantic breakfasts watching the tide ebb and flow. Bird song and country sounds abound!

Sky television, but no cellphone or broadband internet coverage in Cable Bay.

Beautiful Cable Bay offers a range of activities including kayaking with nearby Cable Bay Kayaks: www.cablebaykayaks.co.nz Swimming at safe beach, rocky at high tide, sandy at low.

Walking (steep) over some or all of Cable Bay Walkway that goes across farm land and through native bush to The Glen. Stunning views across Tasman Bay to D’Urville Island and the mountain ranges of North West Nelson, and down the Boulder Bank to Nelson.

Cable Bay Café, just across the road is open over the summer months for lunch and Nelson cafes and restaurants are only 25 minutes drive away. David is always happy to show guests the furniture in our home that he has made over the years and also works in progress in the workshop.
